About the founder
Steve Parks born in Sacramento, California lived his child life on the big Island of Hawaii. He was captivated by beautiful sunsets , marine life, to the migration of humpback whales towards the warm waters . At a young age it was his perfect personal learning experience which marked the beginning of creativity from a developing imagination.
Hawaii is where Parks discovered his love for the world of nature and the beauty it offers. Later in life it would inspire him to create and sculpt, ‘Pacific Plunge' which is an elegant rendition of hump back whales capturing the balance of an exquisite dance in the ocean.
Inspirations from his childhood has remained with him even while living in Missouri, California, Washington, and Oregon.
Surrounded by the everyday splendor of Oregon and working at an art foundry, he inevitably realized his truest call. Parks aspired to be a master sculptor and bronze foundry owner.
Perseverance prevailed. Through dedication, hard work, a strong desire to learn, knowledge, working with accomplished sculptors he was able to fullfill his dreams.
Thirty years later he has earned the respect of many fine artists today. He is well known in the art and foundry world for being attentive, trustworthy, and having a respectful demeanor. He makes himself available because he understands the uniqueness of each project, importance of timelines, and budgets.
